Hardscape Construction was founded in 1995 by Matt Barron and is one of Minnesota’s most respected segmental retaining wall contractors. Recognized for quality craftsmanship, service, and safety, Hardscape utilizes all Union trades people to insure the highest quality workmanship and timely project completion.

With over 20 years of retaining wall experience, Matt Barron offers unique insight into solving complex retaining wall issues. We have installed more than 2 million square feet of segmental retaining walls.

We specialize in large scale modular and BIG BLOCK retaining wall installations. As cofounder of Recon Retaining wall systems, Hardscape helped start the BIG BLOCK retaining wall business.
